Part 1: Level 4 Extended Diploma in Songwriting (120 credits) provides a comprehensive foundation in lyric writing, melody development, harmony, and song structure. Learners refine their storytelling techniques, musical arrangement, and creative expression while analyzing different genres and songwriting approaches. They explore their artistic identity through self-reflection and industry feedback, enhancing their ability to craft compelling songs. Business-focused modules cover branding, marketing, and monetization strategies, preparing learners for commercial success. The course includes hands-on projects, co-writing opportunities, and a professional showcase, equipping learners with the skills to navigate the music industry as songwriters, artists, and creative professionals.
Part 2: Level 5 Extended Diploma in Songwriting (120 credits) refines advanced lyricism, melody composition, arrangement, and storytelling techniques, preparing learners for professional careers in music. They explore complex harmonic structures, song forms, and production elements, enhancing their ability to create industry-standard compositions. Learners engage in co-writing projects, live performances, and portfolio development, gaining real-world experience. Business-focused modules cover publishing, licensing, branding, and revenue strategies, ensuring career sustainability. Level 6 BA top-up in Music Production, validated by one of our UK University partners most suitable for you.
There are several pathways available, with a choice of validating universities, depending on your specific skills, needs and goals.
Apply to study at a University in the UK for a year to complete the BA top-up. Tuition fees may be higher, and you will need a student visa.

Tuition Fees: £9,535/$12,000(USD)/€11,500 per year, as we align with UK university rates. There are payment plans, but no financial aid. Enroll in September, and the schedule is two days a week, with breaks for holidays.
Two-year Option: A higher intensity two-year option is also available.
No Academic Prerequisites: While no formal education is required, intermediate knowledge of your chosen field is essential, and all applicants will be required to complete a phone interview. If you’re a beginner, a 120-hour Garnish Producer Program will suffice.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for students with relevant previous coursework or industry experience, following our formal RPL policy.
